Do you suffer from marketing guilt?

You’re bought into the power of blogging with a head full of ideas but no time to write them up, it’s frustrating but you need to focus on income generation and not creating marketing content.

If this, is you, I have the solution!

You can outsource your blog writing to me, tick it off the list and never have to think about it again!

How it works

  • Decide how many blogs you’d like – I would recommend monthly.

  • Pick the topics you’d like to cover (Don’t worry if you haven’t got any, I can help here too!)

  • Book a call and let’s get started.

The process kicks off with a zoom call, we’ll talk about what you want to achieve, the topics you want to cover, frequency, understand the measures of success (how many people do you want to read it etc.),we’ll also cover your brand values and tone of voice.

I use a briefing template that sets out the topic, blog title, keywords, resources (internal or external links), who are we aiming the post at (is it educational, aimed at retention or new business focused), how we want the reader to feel, call to action, an outline of the post, sign off from underwriting or compliance and timescales for review and sign off.

How much does it cost?

Prices start from £350 for a 3–5-minute blog post.

What you get:

1× SME interview/briefing (up to 30 mins).
1× round of copywriting, with text supplied in MS Word.
2× rounds of editing.

What results are we looking for?

Blogging is unlikely to be an overnight success, although that would be nice, it can take a while to build momentum, however we are aiming to share your content with as many people as possible and I am happy to share different ways to do this. The call to action on blog posts is for people to contact you, so that is a good measure, likewise if you’re sending out a newsletter by email your mailing software should be able to give you open and click through rates on each campaign you create.

What would it feel like to get this up and running?

A job ticked off a list, the feeling that you can finally get in front of more people, you can stand up to your competitors, you have content to be proud of maybe something else, but the feeling that you are XYZ

Not convinced?

That’s ok, its perfectly ok to have doubts about an investment and sometimes when you’ve decided to buy you brain needs a little more convincing that you’re not taking a risk. Maybe a read through some of the common objections will help reassure you.

  • “I’m not sure I’ve got time to set this up” – It will take time to get up and running and you’ll probably need to dedicate about an hour a week for 4-6 weeks (this will be when we plan the content and run through any edits to posts before you sign them off), but as I begin to understand your tone of voice and style it will speed things up.

  • “Will I get a return on my investment?” – Good question, it depends on your commitment to the process and the strategies you have, to share content created for you. The wider you share the content, and I always recommend using LinkedIn for this, the better engagement you get, which will turn into leads. There are also ways to re-purpose the content to get even more views and engagement. SEE BLOG POST.

  • “I don’t have the time or skills to promote the finished blog posts” – yep, I get it. It takes time to promote your blog and writing engaging posts to encourage readers to buy from you us important. If this is something you need help with, my blog writing packages will give you this content in addition to the blog post.

  • Maybe you’ve tried to use a copywriter before and had a bad experience? – the thing my clients like about me is that I have an insurance background, and this puts me in a unique situation because it means that you don’t need to teach me insurance. Sure, there are things I need to research but my experience saves time and gives me a deeper understanding of some of the challenges you face and means we can get going much more quickly.
